FAYETTE, Iowa (July 8, 2013) - Upper Iowa University, Fayette, Iowa, and Chattahoochee Technical College, Marietta, Ga., have signed an articulation agreement that will make it easier for Chattahoochee students to transfer to Upper Iowa University to complete a bachelor's degree.
"Our goal is to help students access an affordable degree program at Upper Iowa University," said UIU President William R. Duffy, Ed.D., Ed.S. "We are committed to partnerships like this to help us serve the educational needs of students. We look forward to working closely with students from CTC."
Chattahoochee Technical College is comprised of eight campuses that serve a six-county area in northern Georgia comprised of Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding and Pickens counties. It was formed in 2009 by a merger of three previously independent units of the Technical College System of Georgia, and offers 70 plus degrees, diplomas and certificates in 45 programs of study in the areas of business sciences, computer sciences and engineering technology, health sciences, personal and public services and technical studies.
